“You don’t know the effect you have on people, do you? If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be getting married!” This was my reply to Margie’s question as to why she had gotten a wedding invitation.
Years ago I picked up her business card at my friends jewelry store. I had been in a car accident and injured back. I had to move back in with my parents for a while. I was told to go on disability. What kind of live would I have trying to live on $700.00 a month? I like to work on cars and ride my motor cycle.
I wanted to get back to work and live my life on my terms. I wanted to take the least amount of pain pills as possible. My job requires long hours of driving so I have to be mentally sharp!
Recovery is a process. Whatever she does to the muscles makes the pain go away. I am usually pain free until a few days prior to my next appointment. Margie helped me to correct my posture and gave me some stretches to do on my own that helps me keep things in check. I try to drink water more. I schedule appointments every 4 weeks with Margie. I told her she is not allowed to retire unless she can replace herself with an equality skilled and compassionate person as herself.
Since I was able to get my life back, I was back to work and began dating. I bought a house. Beth and I got married and we have two beautiful baby boys. If Margie hadn’t helped me get my life back – I would have missed out on being a husband and a father.
My life is good.
I was experiencing severe chronic pain from tendonitis in my shoulder, so my boyfriend recommended a few sessions with Margie Webb. She has helped his mother with her back issues, and he thought she might be able to help me, as well. I realized Margie was unique on my very first visit. She spent time talking to me about my pain, asking specific questions to get at the root of my problem, and making suggestions for things that I could do between visits that might help ease the pain…not only for the short term, but in the long run as well.
I took all of her suggestions to heart and incorporated them into my daily life. I worked on improving my posture. I tried changing my pillow and sleep positions. I rearranged my desk and chair at work, so they were more “user friendly.” I did the stretching exercises that she gave me, I drank more water, I started taking a multi-vitamin and magnesium. I even allowed my boyfriend to carry things for me more often.
Margie and I would both do research between sessions and bring new ideas to the table. Each week was a new experience, as she would let my muscles tell her what they needed, and in response, she would try new techniques and / or continue with those that were already proving to help alleviate the pain.
It was a process, but together we worked as a TEAM to help me heal. AND I DID. It took some time, but the pain is finally gone.
I still see Margie on a regular basis to help maintain my overall health and well-being. Margie is a wonderful and compassionate person who only wants the best for her clients. She definitely went above and beyond my expectations. She has helped me tremendously, and for that I will be forever grateful!
Thank you so much Margie!!!
